From the field to the terminal
Musket Advisors began as Musket Gundog & Co. — leasing equipment to working-dog trainers and investing in select champion bloodlines, backing proven performers with patience and a long view. The lessons of that first business never left us: judgment is earned in the field, and champions are built, not bought.
As the practice grew into energy and commodities, the firm was rebranded Musket Advisors — a name that reflects its champion strengths. The discipline is the same; only the field has changed.
The firm is led by its founder, Brian — nearly thirty years across petroleum distribution, trading, and design, including building a fuel distribution company into an industry leader in its space. That operator’s experience runs through everything Musket advises on and builds.
